This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in general maintenance, carpentry, and building repairs within a hospitality or facilities environment. The position plays a vital role in ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction by maintaining high standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

Responsibilities
As a Carpenter, your responsibilities will include a wide range of maintenance and repair duties, such as:
- Responding promptly to guest repair and maintenance requests
- Communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues professionally
- Performing preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment
- Inspecting tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe operation
- Identifying, locating, and operating utility and equipment shut-off valves
- Maintaining maintenance inventory and requesting parts and supplies as needed
- Completing surface preparation, painting, drywall repair, and wood trim repairs
- Replacing light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets, and guestroom items
- Performing basic plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains and toilets
- Troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical and mechanical equipment
- Programming TVs and handling engineering-related inventory tasks
- Conducting interior and exterior repairs, including landscaping and sprinkler systems
- Using Lockout/Tagout procedures before performing maintenance work
- Documenting daily activities and communicating issues to other shifts
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work on ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Ability to follow company safety, security, and operational procedures
- Availability for full-time, on-site work
