V2X is seeking an experienced and skilled Welder Job in Qatar to support critical operations in Qatar. This role is suited for a highly disciplined professional with strong technical welding expertise and the ability to work in demanding operational environments. The Welder will be responsible for performing a wide range of welding, fabrication, and metal repair tasks while adhering to strict safety, security, and quality standards. This position plays an essential role in maintaining infrastructure, equipment, and systems that support mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities
The Welder will be responsible for performing a broad range of welding and fabrication duties, including but not limited to:
- Performing welding duties using electric, acetylene, inert gas shielded welding processes, brazing, pre-heating, head welding, tack welding, flame cutting, pressure welding, and heat treating
- Laying out angles, arcs, and circles for the fabrication or repair of metal structures
- Interpreting and applying building plans and blueprints to maintain and repair metal structures
- Adjusting and installing lines and ductwork to support HVAC/R systems
- Making various types of joints in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions on light and heavy metal structures
- Performing precision welding on jigs, dies, and engineering equipment
- Following all safety programs in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional work environment free from hazards, dust, clutter, and debris
- Participating in and complying with a comprehensive and documented training program
- Safeguarding and properly using all government and contractor-provided facilities, equipment, and tools
- Accurately completing company time reporting procedures and timesheets
- Performing additional duties as assigned in accordance with contractual and mission requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman card for the respective trade from a recognized apprentice program or State certification, or
- Current or expired State Contractor’s license for the respective trade, or
- Evidence of passing an International Code Council (ICC) national journeyman or master certification exam, or
- Nationally recognized certification program, or
- Documented military journeyman-level or higher experience in the respective trade (as identified on a DD214)
- Current, valid U.S. Passport
- Current, valid U.S. Driver’s License with ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment
- Ability to obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license upon deployment
- Ability to pass a flight line access test and obtain a flight line access badge
- Successful completion of employment and deployment qualification requirements, including psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks
- Successful completion of hands-on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) defense training, including fit testing of DOD-issued protective gear
