Our Client RN FARMS PTY LTD is seeking a reliable Fruit Farm Worker to work across six blueberry farms located in the Dimbulah and Mutchilba regions of QLD.

– 66094 Burke Developmental Road (110 acres)
– 128 Veness Road (120 acres)
– 333 Veness Road (100 acres)
– 15 Minisini Road (100 acres)
– 62 Markocic Road (55 acres),
104 Catherine Road, Mutchilba (100 acres), approximately 30 minutes away.
The role involves assisting with planting, pruning, harvesting, grading, and general farm duties to support healthy crop production and top-quality fruit outcomes. This is a role suited to a reliable worker with a strong work ethic, ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.
Job Responsibility:
Duties:
- Assist with planting blueberry bushes using hand tools and farm machinery.
- Set up and maintain trellising, netting, and plant support systems where required.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment to cultivate soil, fertilise, spray, and assist with harvesting blueberries.
- Apply chemicals and treatments in accordance with safety guidelines to control weeds, insects, fungal growth, and plant diseases.
- Weed, thin plants, and prune blueberry bushes to promote healthy growth and fruit yield.
- Operate and monitor irrigation systems to ensure consistent water supply for crop growth.
- Select and hand-pick blueberries according to size, colour, and ripeness, discarding damaged or overripe fruit.
- Grade, sort, and pack blueberries into containers in line with quality and food safety standards.
- Load packed blueberry produce onto pallets or trucks for transport, following safe manual handling practices
