About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety & Environment management for our Modular Fabrication Yard in Oman, specializing in offshore jackets, production decks, and related structures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with international HSE standards and client requirements (e.g., Saudi Aramco, and other major offshore operators) while driving a strong safety culture across the yard and project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all HSE activities for the new fabrication project in compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and client HSE standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and programs specific to offshore fabrication yard operations.
- Lead HSE planning and execution for offshore fabrication projects including jacket construction, heavy lifting operations, and offshore loadout activities
- Liaise with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and third parties to ensure adherence to contractual and legal HSE obligations.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZID / HAZOP reviews and incident investigations; ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Implement robust HSE audit and verification programs including regular safety inspections and performance monitoring
- Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks, training, and awareness campaigns.
- Support project execution teams to ensure safe work practices across lifting, welding, heavy fabrication, offshore loadout, and commissioning activities.
- Lead emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness exercises for yard operations.
- Mentor, guide, and develop HSE officers and supervisors within the team.
- Provide regular HSE reports and performance analysis to Project Management and Corporate Leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in commerce or Safety.
