THEMES Furniture & Homestore is looking for a skilled Sofa Stitching Master to join our in-house sofa manufacturing team.
You will be responsible for stitching high-quality sofa covers, cushions, and upholstery components with a focus on precision, durability, and premium finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch sofa cushion covers (seat & back cushions)
- Work with boxing, piping, and zipper installation
- Maintain straight, consistent seams on long panels
- Handle thick upholstery fabrics (velvet, suede, linen, leatherette)
- Follow templates and measurements accurately (no freehand work)
- Ensure clean finishing and alignment of all stitched components
- Coordinate with upholstery and cutting teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in upholstery stitching (sofas, car seats, or furniture)
- Experience using industrial walking-foot sewing machines
- Strong understanding of:
- Cushion construction (top, bottom, boxing)
- Zipper installation
- Seam alignment and consistency
- Ability to work with heavy/thick materials
- Attention to detail and quality
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in sofa manufacturing factories
- Experience with piping and premium upholstery finishing
- Ability to guide junior staff or helpers
Pay: Rs45,000.00 – Rs65,000.00 per month
